This track features a drum backing track put together by @Davy. I added the bass line to it. It is a second shy of 11 minutes, but it really is a slow track in 12/8.
The sequence is 12 bar, but not quite the standard 12 bar.

Am|Am|Am|Am
Dm|Dm|Am|Am
C| Bm7 (2 beats) E7 (2 Beats)
Am (2 beats) Dm (2 beats) | Am (2 beats) E7 (2 beats)

If the last 4 bars don't make sense to you Fool For Your Stockings by ZZ Top, uses this pattern on the last 4 bars of the tune.

I’ll agree with you so that both of us are wrong.
I like this one a lot, but...I think I need to sleep on it and try again tomorrow night. Seemed like I was so close at times to getting something decent and then it just seemed to fall apart.

Well Drat!
Last night spent a little time trying add a rhythm track.
Those last few bars of Am, Dm , Am E7 just kept messing me up/

I played along with it yesterday and thought it sounded great with the E7 at the end. This morning, after reading your post, I tried it again and the E7 now sounds awful to my ear. Try an Em or Em7 instead during the turnaround.

Hey Papa,
Yeah, just didn't work for me.
I'll give it a shot later unless somebody else jumps in.

Don't let my frustration hold up progress..
Anyone ready..............jump in.
