avitar question

OK, I know I'm not thinking right but, I am trying to hang an avitar. I make that photo copy in all four rotations. No matter which I use the image appears sideways.

I think I broke my brain with the looper.

What am I doing wrong (with the avitar specifically)?

No, I just loaded it in a photo editor and rotated it and then resaved.

Leprechauns, at it again. I not only did that I rotated the camera too. I was holding my weight to the left and facing northwest though.
