Apparently, bookmarks are not widely used in Xenforo forums. Even a poll of their own support forum users shows 46% rarely use them and 17% never use them. These are the people who own and manage the software! Even 6% voted "What feature are you talking about."

I Googled "Xenforo bookmark issues" and "Xenforo bookmark problems" and didn't find any information, so if there are problems with its reliability, they aren't showing up on the company's own forum. Usually, any anomaly with their software will show up like a rash on their forum.
