Here is mine along with a Drum Track. I used Apogee Jam, my Fender Srat and GarageBand with an app called Drumbeats

NIce job! I think I saw on another thread that you sometimes play bass. This lesson will obviously translate directly to bass. Record that for us (and yourself).

Here is the Bass version. It took a few tries to get it to sound kinda right using just a guitar amp in Garageband. I used my Apogee Jam and Ibanez Bass.

I didn't hear anything wrong with that. You could use the same bass line on a much slower tempo also. Are you playing bass with fingers or a pick? Myself- I've never used a pick.

I always use a pick. I think it is a lot better for recording. More consistent. Not as cool looking though when your on stage. But then I don't get out much.

Playing with fingers on the right hand has much more opportunities for muting. But I've been doing this for a long time on bass. Whatever works for you...The main thing is to get the rhythm and the feel.

I've always wanted to learn finger style playing. I know it is important to mute those open strings after you play them. I quit playing 20 years ago and am just now getting back to it.  I used to have a Fender P Bass and it really sounded a lot better than the one I used here. I'ts on my wish list to get another one.

That bass version sounds great! Learning to play bass is one of the things on my wish list.

Just listened to it again- you have the feel. no hesitation. got the shuffle feel down. Throwing in some "and ah" notes here and there

Just reviewing some threads here. That bass part is flawless. You might want to advertise yourself as a bass player while continuing to work on guitar. Good bass players are a lot scarcer than guitar players.
