Thump the Bottom
Assuming you are right handed you can push down on the right side of your guitar with your right arm to control the angle. You may have to shorten your strap so the guitar sits a little higher to do this. But you should be able to take your left hand off completely and change the angle of the guitar just by raising and lowering your arm like a chicken wing.
There are times you may not have the option to sit, so being able to stand may prove helpful at some point..
