4 NOTE SOLO

Not really. The 4 Note Solo came first and was a single video. Soloing without scales expands on the idea with multiple videos, lots of licks consisting of blocks of 4 or 5 notes in different areas of the fret board (sounds like scales but it isn't). It then uses the licks to build several solos and adds techniques like bending and grace notes.

Just to make sure........the 4 Note Solo is just the updated version of Soloing Without Scales, right?

No. The 4 note solo came first and it's Griff's marketing hook. Soloing Without Scales is WAYYYYY more. For what it's worth; I finished BBG and BGU, but it wasn't until I got to SWS that I started feeling comfortable soloing.

Just for the record, the actual title of SWS is "Soloing Without Scales - The 4 Note Solo".
Funny, it doesn't say that in the members area, but it DOES on my DVD's (which I never look at any more).
