1/16th note mania?

Griff mentioned the old challenges which reminded me of the one I think he called triplet mania that, as I recall, was a solo that was triplets that started in the first bar and didn't stop until like 24 bars later. Even if you couldn't play triplets when that challenge started, you had them down cold by the end of the month. How about something similar with 1/16 notes. I know how to count them (1 e & a), but they still throw me sometimes when I run across them for some reason.

Have you taken a look at the Pentatonic Mastery course, that has a lot of exercises with playing triplet patterns over 1/16 note feel and vice versa:

I always forget about PSTM. Since I posted that, I've had the opportunity to talk to Griff on the side about it, and he's given me some ideas to work on that incorporate things like you'd find in that course, the rhythm figures course, and learning some new scales counting them as 1/16 notes instead of triplets or 1/8.
