Robin Trower "Too Rolling Stoned Solo Break" Am

D. R. Miller

Good News Blues
My submission track to the virtual jam room is from one of my favorite guitarists. It's a little rough because I had to create the Drum track from scratch using my midi keyboard. It came out close enough but critical ears may hear many timing issues. Enjoy, can't wait to hear your additions to the jam. I started at the beginning and am out at 1:57.

Well done, Dennis. Your backing track is great and you captured the vibe perfectly. Looking forward to joining in…later. I also love Mr. Trower, and the Bridge album especially.

I've been lucky enough to catch him live twice in the past four years playing the old Brady Theater in Tulsa. He is as good as he's ever been and has a great young Bass player/vocalist with him to sing the old stuff that was originally sang by James Dewar.

I wanted to wait until this thread matured (well not literally... some of us will never be mature) before I posted this, but if you haven't ever seen or heard it, Griff has tracked Too Rolling Stoned more than once.

This was a bit of a 'Tone Fest' on top of all the great playing by everyone.(y)(y) Some cool experimentation going on as well.(y) I finished it off with a clean toned doodle.:)

Really well finished off MM. So often with this type of backing track you can sense the lead player running out of ideas as to what to do next...hesitation instead of deliberate space. Not when you are playing though ...lots of space, lots of ideas, loved it, well done
