I forgot to do this stuff when I was young or was too busy or just too lazy.

So now its fun and I figure keeps brain busy trying to wire new connections. Playing guitar aint easy theres two hands doing different stuff and they gotta try to cooperate sometimes!

It hits me hard now playing songs I never even considered I could ever play. Griff taught Hotel California last year in all access. Stuff like that ...

Yeah I have started to enjoy playing out some and making some noise also.

I think this captures my personal feelings about it the best of the comments I've read thus far. I started out just noodling for myself but the first time I was able to play something with someone else I was hooked.

Like John Cougar once said, "Life goes on, long after the thrill of living is gone." I need some sort of goal to work towards, in order to make me feel like I'm alive. I'll start out not knowing how to play a single note of a song, then I'll eventually get it memorized and practice it a gazillion times, then I'll get it recorded and post it for my friends to hear. It gives me a little sense of achievement and forward motion.
