An interesting idea to spread some "Christmas Spirit"

This came across my social media path, and I like the idea. I think it'd be cool if it caught on in a big way. Just tossing it out there.

Over the last 10 years my neighborhood has had a change over in residents. Since the Mosque opened a couple of blocks away the majority of the new residents are Muslims from Bangladesh. There are very few Christmas lights up in our neighborhood anymore, which is a shame because we used to love going for walks in the evenings and see all the lights. Probably 9 of 10 houses on most blocks would have lights up but now it is a good block that has 3 houses with lights. Our city came up with a compromise for the new residents, the Christians won't ring the church bells Sunday mornings anymore and the Muslims won't broadcast the call to prayer over loud speakers 5 times a day.

Consequently, I'd probably be violating a city ordinance if I rang bells on Christmas eve.
