He's very good. You sent me down a Youtube rabbit hole and I watched 3 or 4 more. In the one you posted the first thing I thought was Tipitina. He got around to those lyrics eventually. Love the New Orleans rhythms and piano style,

Hugh Laurie is a talented guy. I first heard of him as one half of the comedy duo Fry and Laurie. My kids and I watched their tv show when we lived in England for a year in the early 90's. Then, when he popped up on House, I remember there was often a guitar and amp in view in his office. I think he even played on a few episodes.

He's done at least one documentary movie about, I believe it was the New Orleans blues and history there of. I can't find it on youtube currently but I remember being very impressed with his piano playing.
