[Not Blues] More acoustic finger picking

Before I put the recorder away for the summer, one more acoustic finger picking number.

This one was first published in 1597 in England by John Dowland. The song is probably a lot older but that's the first publication.

For this recording I played a borrowed Little Martin LXM parlor guitar and tried to make it sound kind of harpsichord-like since the flat top guitar and the piano hadn't been invented yet when it was published :)

I played near the bridge to get the tone more trebly and then ran the recording through a high pass filter.

Thanks PapaBear and Many Moons! It's my favorite Renaissance piece. Of course, it's the only one I know so there's always that.
