I have a problem with lyrics too. In my case its because I have nothing to say. I had the same problem in art class in school, nothing to say.

I think you've got some good bones there.
I never force lyrics, I'd suggest, focus on a story and try to tell it.
Get in touch with the vibe of the music and let the emotion drive the story.

Have you tried singing something yourself? I'm sure if you pen a simple verse, sit down nice and relaxed and try a few takes, you might surprise yourself. Give it a go. I would like to hear the results.:)

Nice work!! So you have that lyrics problem also? I can come up with all sorts of song ideas on guitar but then just spend my time playing the progression waiting for the inspiration for the words to come, sometimes they never do.
send them to me, lyrics and melody are no problem.....its getting the guitar parts down I struggle with
