There are much better examples of where Jimi Page blatantly ripped off not only music, but lyrics. "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" is one that comes to mind. This song has some similarities, but not enough to pass my litmus test. Suit denied.

Did anyone mention that Spirit toured with Led Zep, just before Stairway was written. Come on it doesn't take much stretch to imagine Page liked the intro, changed it enough to make it his own.

My opinion is that, as usual, musicians are clueless. Apparently, and I admit to not watching his follow up videos which might address this, Mr. TJR never heard of the Blurred Lines law suit.

Mr. TJR needs to do more than just musical analysis to understand copyright infringement.
