The whole idea of flipping it over to get the other neck just doesn't work for me.

There are a bunch of double necks on Reverb but mostly 6/12 strings

I have been toying with the idea of making a double neck with one neck a bass, but I'm struggling with the concept of switching between bass and guitar with in the same song...

I'd probably give serious thought to giving up music, or at least switch to a different instrument before I'd play one of those.

It actually looks a lot worse! A 2x4 is thinner and has rounded edges!

I think I'd need to start wearing a truss after just a few minutes of holding and playing that thing!!
Looks like a hernia waiting to happen.
