In today’s video you’ll (sort of) see how to play Wind Cries Mary by Jimi Hendrix…<\/p>\n

I say “sort of” because I’m not going to walk you through it note for note perfect… instead I want you to look at it a little differently.<\/p>\n

You see, at some point, you’re going to want to learn a bunch of songs and you’re going to want to remember them all and you’re going to want to be able to learn more of them. And to do that, you can’t spend your time thinking about them one note at a time.<\/p>\n

Instead, I hope you’ll see that in this video I’m showing you more about how to think about a tune than the tune itself. (But it’s a really fun tune and I hope you’ll get what I’m saying and put in that little extra effort to learn this song.)<\/p>\n
