Well, simply put, it&#8217;s because you often find yourself in a strange place when you&#8217;re soloing.<\/p>\n<p>You just finished up a cool lick, and now you find yourself around the 3rd string in the middle of the neck in the key of G&#8230; and all of a sudden it&#8217;s as if you&#8217;ve never seen the neck before.<\/p>\n<p>Sound familiar?
