So now that I’m in the great state of Texas prepping for the show tomorrow night at the Allen Blues Festival, my inner Texas blues man is definitely starting to show. I thought it would be cool to throw together a little “ode to Texas blues guitarists” for y’all to enjoy. Now I know these three players don’t come close to covering the huge array of talent this state has produced, but they are some of the big ones. I thought I would share a little Johnny Winter, some SRV, and one of the original kings, Freddie King. There are plenty more out there, but we’ll get it started with these three. Enjoy!!<\/p>\n

Johnny Winter has been touring the world his entire life and can still be seen on stage today. Check out some of his classic slow blues chops with “Be Careful With A Fool” at https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=8Tyg5SJDpiQ<\/a>.<\/p>\n
