Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown was one of the most active blues musicians in the last 60 years. Brown played with a number of the best blues musicians around including Albert Collins and Freddie King. And not only was he a fast guitar slinger, he was a stellar fiddle player and a harp player. This guy could keep with any of the young cats, even well into his later years. I collected a few performances that I think you’ll really enjoy from Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown including a short piece with Freddie King and some of his own work. Brown recorded music for thirty years, even the same year he passed away at the age of 81. I sure hope you dig all these performances as much as I did!<\/p>\n
