I don’t need to start filling you in on what Eric’s been up to lately, since you probably know it all better than I do, but what I dig is he’s still playing the blues, still helping out young musicians get the fame they deserve, and even coming out with some new music. I wrote this post simply out of enjoyment and to recognize some of the cool performances he’s done lately that have stuck out to me. A few years ago, he went out on the road with his old friend and organist Steve Winwood, even played a show together at the Crossroads Guitar Festival 2010, then he performed one of the cooler versions I’ve heard of “Crossroads” at the Hurricane Sandy Relief Concert in 2012. I gotta say I’m not only jealous of the man’s chops, but the cool places he gets to play too. I hope you dig watching some of these memorable performances too. And feel free to share some that stuck out to you recently too!<\/p>\n
