In honor of the recent PBS special at the White House, “Red, White and Blues,” I thought I would share excerpts from the show with you.\u00a0 Hopefully you were able to catch the whole show this last Monday night, but in case you didn’t the show has been released on YouTube for all of us to see.\u00a0 Parts 1 and 2 will include moments from every performance from the show and even features a little bit of vocals from President Obama at the very end.\u00a0 It was a great show and it was very cool to see the blues get the appreciation it truly deserves.\u00a0 I hope you enjoy the show as much as I did!<\/p>\n

The first part includes performances from B.B. King, Trombone Shorty, Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy, Mick Jagger, Shemekia Copeland and Gary Clark Jr.\u00a0 Plus Booker T Jones leads the White House Band.\u00a0 Check out part 1 at http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=SQNK_i1pJNY<\/a>.<\/p>\n
