interesting because I have seen some online instructors talk about the 2.5 system: Box 1, the upper half of Box 2, and Box 4 – all you need to say what you want to say.
That’s like having dead spots in your freboard. There are a number of blues greats who never went beyond Box1 and Box2. You can say a lot with just those two, but knowing the rest are out there and not exploring them is like learning to speak as a child and never expanding your vocabulary as an adult. For the keys of E, F and G, I spend most of my time in Box4, so for me it’s as important to know 3 and 5 as it is 1 and 2.
This is fun. These licks remind me of “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”.
Well Ive been learning from Griffs courses for years, Ive checked how many & Ive purchased 51 courses, i started way before all access pass, never understood why I’d want to pay for somewthing Ive already purchased? but that suit some. Ive been playing for since i was 15 Im now 67. And play a few genres, rock mainly & blues. But try as I may Ive never been able to count & play, I attempted with the Rythmn figures course & it just didnt work, OK bad habits I suppose are deeply engrained. Ive purchased the Blues LIcks in a box & will persevere with that course. as soon as I count I loose. But Ill give this one a miss

Love box 4, thank you Griff.
Interesting jam track for this. Would
like to be sure of the chord progression used. Thanks.
