Not Sure Where You Are Or Where To Go Next?

The basic, most common flow through the courses is this:

So if you are a total beginner, go with Beginning Blues Guitar. If you can play a little and just want the bluesy flavored chords, grab Essential Blues Chords.

From that level, the best way up is Blues Guitar Unleashed and finally the Slow Blues Supplement.

Often, however, people in the 2nd stage (Blues Guitar Unleashed) start to run into some unique challenges that are different from person to person. That is why there are so many other options to address those issues:

  • Having a hard time making the leap from scales to improvising? Try Soloing Without Scales (The 4 Note Solo) for a fresh perspective on the fretboard as a whole. This is also a good choice if you feel like you’re just in a rut and want a new way to look at things.
  • Feel like you can’t play fast enough to keep up? Pentatonic Scales & Technique Mastery is quite literally the set of “workouts” I used to get where I am today. I’ve used it with many students and had excellent results over the years as I’ve refined it.
  • Interested in Slide Guitar? The Introduction To Slide Guitar is a great place to get started with that sound.
  • Want to know why it all works the way it does? Guitar Theory Made Useful will show you everything you need about music theory in an easy to digest way that you can actually use in your day-to-day playing.
  • Need more tracks to play over? 29 Jam Tracks will give you some great new rhythm patterns to learn and plenty of high quality jam tracks to practice over.
