You Sound Horny - Bb

Marv

I play 'err' guitar.
Here's one of Griff's tracks in Bb.

The goal, if you choose to accept it, is to try to emulate a horn of some kind.  This gives you all kinds of amp, pedal and tone choices, the chance to try a different octave than the previous player, whatever.  I started out in Box 1 and used a lot of slurred passing notes not in the scale, which, to me, sounds a little jazzier and "hornier" than sticking with the pure pentatonic scale.

First shot with the new Tele I finally broke down and bought. ;)  Though there are some here who will say it ain't a Tele 'cause it has a bridge bucker.  And a middle pickup.   ::)

NICE Marv, sounds great!! How about a pic of that Tele?

Staying my usual cheap self, I've been watching for a Tele that was cheap, flexible and easy to play.  Went with a Modern Player with Tele neck pickup, Strat middle pickup and coil-splittable bucker at the bridge gives me the flexibility.  Chinese made gives me the price. Jumbo frets make it easy to play.  They have a couple of colors.  Mine is the Honey Burst.  I've never been a big burst fan, but I like this one.

Since we're doing Chinese axes, I got my Epi Dot Studio out with some fresh strings. Rolled back the Tone knob on the guitar and on my MXR '78 Custom Badass. Not sure how "horny" it sounds but I did stick to single notes. http://db.tt/tjiz4ud3
