My Wampler Equator EQ pedal finally made it across the border!! It was a toss up between it and the Boss GE7. According to the local guitar guru they both work in different ways on your sound. time for a test drive.

Isn't an EQ pedal so you can buy every flavor of amp and guitar and find a way to dial them in so they all sound similar?
I've heard Griff say as much in his gear videos.

Yep. However, they are very useful for tweaking an amp for different environments/rooms. I use a para eq for when an amp is in my bedroom and tweak for all the furniture in a tight area, and totally change the settings when the same amp is in the apartment living room which is wide open.
