Just finishing shuffle lick 3. Griff places a lot of emphasis on where to start a lick. I understand that.
So far I'm not hearing much emphasis on where it ends other than knowing where it ends.
I think the magic about a lick's start and endpoint is how it's sound interacts with the rhythm, bass, drums and vocals. There are some really exciting musical results in the big picture that come from the interplay of all the parts.
