Where can I find exercises including the 'sliding' pattern of box 1

I'm looking for exercises that involve the lower half of box 5 and upper half of box 2, you know, the sliding pattern we all love, but I want to practice it with a metronome. All the exercises I've found are great but include each 'box' separately. Any help? Thanks!

On page 60 of my old BGU book, ex 19.2 Griff provides an exercise. If you don't have that just run box one up and cross over to two on the G string. Use that string to move up to two from one and reverse. If you know both boxes you can diagram this out to get you started.
Very useful exercise!

Since you're still playing the same 5 (or 6) notes in order, there's no reason you can't do some of the same exercises you normally do, modified to go "diagonally" rather than straight across a Box.

It won't change how you use the metronome.

If you could give some examples of the exercises you're doing now, someone of us could help you out.:)
