Saw this guy 10 feet away in a small club (30 people or so) in Manhattan right after he won the Guitar Player Magazine Best Unknown guitarist award.
I saw a lot of great guitarists back in the 70's (Page, Clapton, Beck, Leslie West, Johnny Winter,) I could go on and on
But never saw anyone as talented as this guy.
Here he is at Austin City Limits. He does the beer bottle slide routine @ 22 minutes. RIP Danny Gatton
