Solos 1-5

@Paleo pointed out that it was good to revisit these solos once in a while, and this is so true. I know first hand, because I learned these solos during lockdown, and when I went to record them this morning to post here, I had to do some revision!! It didn't take too long though, but it's definitely a good idea to revisit them on a semi regular basis.

Here are the results of being locked away for 12 weeks!! I've only just finished solo 5, and I'm still struggling to get the double stops clean, and use all down strokes. (I did manage it for this recording, but I'll be using alternate strokes for practice, as it's sore on an old geezers arm):ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Those sound great, I love your tone. What gear are you using?
I signed up for BGU 2.0 just before I was locked down, it's been my saving grace between finishing all those little jobs that you can never get around to doing .
I look forward to tackling these Solo's.

Thanks Doodlebug. I used my Elite Strat, which comes into my computer through a Focusrite Clarett4PreUSB. I use the CLA guitars plugin from Waves, but I didn't take note of the patches I used. I just click through them until I get something I like.:) Have you reached the solos in BGU2 yet? They're great solo's.

Not quite I'm working on minor blues at the moment. There's a lot in that lesson.
I've got the Texas shuffle down pretty good as well now because when I first tried it sounded like a car crash. :D
