Hi Ron, Looks like a nice combination.  Now I want to see a bit of fingerboard wear over the next few months, I am sure you are giving it plenty of work.  Nice to see that you have the amp dials up at the right end.  Do they go to 11?  Oh and I would like to see that lead looped through the strap, which reminds me I must post another topic in playing in a band.

I'll try and take a photo this morning of my home practice setup.  It's a bitza of a Tele I built from parts.  The body is Ash, made in Japan, the neck is from a US H1 Tele, alnico 5 pickups, with the rest of the hardwear and electrics prettywell stock US Fender parts. It is an excellent and high quality guitar in every way.

The amp is a 15 watt Vox Cambridge (I think discontinued) Not in the same league as the Fender BJ, but it at least has a tube preamp coupled with a solid state poweramp. Vox/celestion 8" bulldog speaker.  It is an adequate little practice amp.

Nice stuff fellas! I guess I better dust off the old camera. All of this recording and picture taking does help keep my motivation up!

I saw a glipmse of your practice studio John (I believe you posted a picture of your Drums). Please send more pics, I'm interested in what other people do!

Here's mine:

American Deluxe Strat with Samarium Cobalt Noisless Pickups. S1 Switch.
Alder body with maple neck (modern "C" shape), fretboard, headstock and Schaller locking machine heads

I really love this instrument  :)

Picture taken before I got the Blues Junior. Still have the Fender Frontman 15R - nice little amp in its own right, but not in the same class as the FBJ.

Thank God, I almost ran out and tidied up the music room.  You should be getting very nice tone with that guitar through your BJ.  Can't do much better than that. Looking forward to hearing it down the track.

Nice! So far this looks like a fender club. Two blondes and two blackies. Where are the Gibson boys hiding?

This is my 1965 Fender Mustang. The paint was done by Arnold Torres and the neck rebuilt by C.B. Perkins both of San Jose', Ca. All I had to do was re-assemble them. I got this one and another identical '65 with the tweed hard cases from a kid who was getting married. He and his brother had painted them 4 or 5 times with spray paint from a can. Then they sat in a garage for 25-30 years and were water damaged and dis-assembled. One of the pots was bad but Kent Perkins found an OEM part for me. I am ready to have the second one painted. Can't decide between white or red. I will take the neck up to Kent soon and get started.

That's a serious looking rig, Levert J. What a great find those two guitars, I still dream of coming across something like that.   It is good they came into your care, bet it sounds great.

Nice to see something other than Fender Pappa D.  The pic come up a bit small but looks like a nice guitar from what I can see.  I would like to see a larger picture if you can do it.

I guess it's my turn.

Front Left 65 RI Epi Casino Elitist in front of a Crate GX212 and Line 6 spider practice amp (Fender Blues Jr. Hasn't arrived as of yet)

Middle, Gibson SG Standard, in front of a Epiphone Dot (ES=335 Copy).

Right Front, I don't know what it is, Tree of Life Mother of Pearl Inlay, on a beautiful body and the electronics are real good as well, (Looks almost like an Ibanez, but the Headstock is different, I think it's a custom made. I am posting some pictures seperately for help in Identification.

That one sits in front of my Fender Stratocaster.

I think I have a problem! ;)

Now that's what I like to see.  No you don't have a problem Chuck.  All good little investments in so many ways.  No BJ yet, that should be in the picture soon I hope.
