Just a heads up that I might pull the server down for a couple of hours. I'm updating the forum software (just bug fixes, nothing major) as well as updating PHP and MySQL on the server.

It should not take too long with modern technology, unless it doesn't work, and then it will take me weeks to figure out why.

Could you perhaps change the website to run secure aka https?

This forum like other similar ones still on http throws alerts and well it would be good to switch over if feasible.

It will run with https, it just doesn't force it. If you put https in your address bar it'll load securely.

I ended up not doing what I intended last night, maybe tonight.
