Not Blues, so enter at your own risk...

I’ll agree with you so that both of us are wrong.
I was messing around recording this past weekend, put in a drum track first and then started throwing things on top of it to see what I would end up with. Not really much to do with blues, so I apologize in advance for posting this. If you are not in the mood for some loud and messy guitar, you may want to skip this one. I recorded some basic bass guitar but really just followed the chords. I have only tried playing the bass a few times so the heavy strings and larger frets take some getting used to.

Well if that was just the result of throwing some things together, I'd love to hear what you come up with if you took your time!

Very nice stuff! (y)
Oh and I loved your tone!

Great job!

That's a great recording Ted! Sounded like a full band to me. Agree with JP about your tone.
Keep it up!

Excellent! Your bass work is fine. It provides a solid bottom and doesn't draw attention to itself. The rest is pure enjoyment to listen to! Nice work.

Playin' for the fun of it.
Phew, that was tasty, I reckon it does one good to get away from the blues and cheer yourself up once in a while. (y)

Thank you all for the kind words. This was a fun one to play. It gets a little tricky when you start layering tracks on top of each other. Up to a certain point, multiple tracks create a good full sound, but it can be easy to get carried away and try to put too many tracks together and end up muddying things up.

Blues - it's in me and it's got to come out.
That's great! There's something to say about just throwing things together. David Bowie said that he could create a hit song in 15 minutes. Seems like you have some of that going on.

See you down the road!

When I click on the lick I get a error message 404 can't find the page your looking for Why?

I had to purge out some of my old files that I had on Dropbox. Since this one was originally posted early in 2017 it must have been one of the casualties.
