My name is Bill King and I am from Northern Nevada - near Lake Tahoe. My music adventure started in the late 60s playing in a band for 5 years on keyboards - Vox Continental and Leslie. In the 90s I got into synths, midi, and computer recording. However, about 10 years ago I saw the light and bought a Strat and an amp. At that time I purchased a Griff class - Playing through the Blues. I thought it would be easy, but I found out otherwise, although I had fun hammering away at it. Since then I haven't had a lot of time to practice (wife and son, who I adore) but have made slow progress through the years. I am now semi-retired and have re-discovered Griff's excellent classes. I love playing and practicing, and hope to continue to get better with time.
