I just joined all access at the end of August and missed all the live September sessions. But I found the replay links this weekend. Watched the Fixit and Practice sessions. Fixit reinforced my goal to not only go back three steps for counting BGU Labs Bloomfield licks but also to reset BGU 2.0 for rhythm counting staring today. For ‘experience/jam’, I first thought - jam tracks, looper playing. Then I remembered playing with real recordings. Started with Born under a bad sign (AK) 20m - picked up the rhythm/bass line pretty quickly and copied/filled some riffs a little. Then Clapton/Winwood MSG Little Wing 20m - I had been doing The Little Wing lesson but it took a minute or two to find it starting at F#m. Then just fun following in rhythm occasionally some embellishments. Went directly into Voodoo Chile 20m. Never tried to play it before. Found it and had an absolute blast! Both those AAP sessions meant a lot. I’m signed up for Oct. Thank you Griff.
