I am thankful to good guitar teachers especially my first guitar teacher then Griff and Justin. Well practicing and playing hard and working hard count for a lot also ... don't forget to have fun!

Anyhow I just figured out and can play along at speed with the Allman Bros I must have did somebody wrong ( Fillmore East live ).

The whole song goes along C C F C G F C ( 1 1 4 1 5 4 1 ).

So it's a 7 bar blues? Dang ha ha somebody's cheating us a bar?

I dunno maybe original is 8 but Allman Bros made it 7?

Try :

C C C C
F F C C
G F C C

Play each chord twice per measure: Down on the 1 and up on the "and of 2".

Check out Griff's "12 Bar Blues With "All I" Turnaround" at the top of page 45 in "How To Build A Blues Song".;)

Sounds like a12 bar blues to me. I had forgotten about the nice harp solo. I think I need to learn some of that.
