TZ, I tried that last night and your contribution sounds a whole lot better than anything I was able to turn out. So, I turned out the lights and called it a night.

I’ll agree with you so that both of us are wrong.
I have to say, after listening to the at least a half dozen times, the beginning is starting to remind me of something else.

I am now determined to record something for this... I'll be back when I figure out what
This is NOT a recording marker!
I thought the same thing every time I played the track. I think it is a nod to the sadness of Elmer Fudd getting his hunting rifle taken away.:(

Now Now Papa & @Ted_Zeppelin,
Get through this one and I've got something more subdued in the hopper.

Now......
Maybe there's just too much going on in that one.
listen to this snippet of a stripped down Mini Rock A Baby, maybe you'll feel better about jumping in....... or worse?o_O

I wish I had a set up that would allow me to jump on that one---(but you all would probably be glad I don't.)
My all time FAVORITE BEAT. Also referred to by Rollin' Stone Magazine "The Jungle Beat" it put Bo Diddley at #11 most influential guitar player of the 20th century--even out doing SRV. who came in at 15th.

Paleo,
I knew you could do it!
That was painless wasn't it?
Gold star for effort and bringing Bo Diddly with ya.

OK... Everyone's doing so well with this... why is it kicking my ass? I'll tell you why! I want another measure before the pattern repeats, but one must work with what one is given.

I'm going to turn something out. It may not be pretty, but I'll do it!

Sorry to take so long, but I had to go get my cowboy boots and hat and stuff my hair up in the hat. For some reason I pictured Buck Owens on this and not Bo Diddley. YEEHAW!

I'm in from 3:30 to about 4:52.

There's 5 Major chords and none of them is a V.

And they're all in the turnaround: bIII - IV - bVI / bVII - bVI / I.

That's what was kickin' my butt....at first.:sneaky:
