Always loved Keith Richards guitar playing. We played a lot of Stones stuff in my teen bands in the mid-late 60s - Last Time, Time is on my side and of course Satisfaction. All of this stuff was easy in standard tuning. I read a quote where someone gave a guitar tuned in open G. He said that was what he’d been looking for. I saw the Stones live for the first time several years ago and they brought him a different guitar for almost every song. I’ve never done much with open tunings, only like drop D. It always seemed to be a pain. Even tuning down a half step to me is a pain. At least now- I could change. Anyway some Keef stuff would be fun.
