In The Blue - Bbm

Time to chill.
Imagine you're in a smokey cafe with you favorite lady enjoying a cocktail.
The band leader recognizes you in the crowd and invites you up to take a solo.
Here's "In The Blue" Bbm - 85 BPM
Take it slow.

OK this is great!
I can't find a damn thing to play against this:mad:

Hope somebody can bring this to life:whistle:

Ha! I thought it was just me! :censored: I can hold my own until the unpredictable key change to major. You *are* sneaky! I'll see if I can get it over the goal line.

Personally, I think the band leader was an idiot for asking me to come up to solo, but here goes. I think I could have done better if the smoke didn't keep making my eyes all itchy. Oh, and heads up for anyone else that he asks to come up to solo, it's kind of hard to figure out when to anticipate the key changes and where to end. I took it to 1:55 -- not quite sure where I was at in the progression but it might have been near the end (n)

@Elio ,
The smoke in you eyes didn't stop you from giving a nice performance.
(y)

My evil genius of putting a surprise major in there was not intentional.
No wonder I couldn't make music with that.
You jumped through the flaming hoop and did well.

I'm going back in to redo that....I'll blend you're in when finished.

I switched to major key licks, so that solo should be an even bigger train wreck over a straight minor key.. I'll just re record over the new one.

Well, I dug into this and found a rogue "F" major.
I retooled and re-posted the link.
Progression should be:
I - I - I - I - IV - IV - I - I -bVI - V - I - V

Still sounds a little weird to me though, give it a listen.

Have to shut down the studio for most of the afternoon so, I check back later for any progress.

Good Luck @Elio

I give you two credit on this one. So far...I got nuttin'!!!
I'm more or less in the same boat, but to be honest I've been working on another project and only listened to the corrected track once. If there's anything left on this when I finish my current assignments, I'll revisit it.

But nice job on opening it up for us, Captain!

I tried my best to re-create the magic of my first attempt in the limited time I had this morning, but it just didn't happen as fast as I had hoped. I'll give it another shot later tonight.
