I believe EX.2 (or 3)

In "I believe EX.2 (or 3)"  dependind on how you look at it , it seems to me after Griff bends up on the 2nd string 3rd fret ,hits the open string then slides 3rd fret to 5th then 3rd fret 1st string to 5th fret 2nd string. He picks 3rd fret 2nd string ,hammers 5th fret and back to 3rd fret and picks 3rd fret again then slides from 4th fret 3rd string. Manual says just to pick 3rd fret then slide 4th down instead of the hammer on.  Anyone see this? or am I not seeing something?

Griff has always said that he tries to get close in the transcription, but doesn't always hit the mark (it's sometimes not even possible).

My take on the differences is:
If I can only play one or the other, I just go with that
If I can play both, I decide which I like best and play that.
There won't be a test at then end, so there is no real need to sweat the differences.

Now if you think that something sounds "wrong", that's another thing entirely, and we should figure out if it's a problem in the manual or not.
