thats a kool track and pretty sure we got mix masters out there that can change this into a 4min. song but its not me cuz im still tryin to figure out wave files so....think i was @ the pool hall during that part of the class :cool: ;D

Yeah, I hope someone can extend that. It's a good track. It needs to be 4 minutes or so.  I know Wally is good at that kind of thing but he is in England at the moment.

Nice job Jon!  I was working on it at the same time.  I only extended it out to 96 bars, plus fadeout!  Yours sounds excellent!

Geez  :-[ Thanks! I already had my fun with this. Selecting a loop section and pasting the ends back on took maybe 5 minutes? The other hour was noodling along to an endless loop.  ;D I didn't really "mix" anything and I'm more of a JoT (jackass of all trades) than a master. I did bump the level of the track up 3db though.

Nice licks, John!  I thank you for doing that, too.  Last night I was sitting around with a guitar, trying to come up with something for this and all my fingers could find was the organ part from Green Onions and The Baby Elephant Walk.

Your solo got me thinking in a different direction!  Really nicely done solo!

Thought I might try and throw a known solo over it or does it have to be original?  I'm not real good at making stuff up.  no creativity :(

Step right up! You're allowed if you're a Griff Hamlin fan, and I have this weird feeling that you might be  ;D We usually divide it up by choruses. JohnF took the 1st two and Rog kicked me back to the caboose  [smiley=beer.gif] Do whatever you're comfortable with just as long as you have fun doing it!

  I started noodling around and recording last night, then did a couple more takes today. Signal chain went Dean - MiraLee both p'ups Vol @ 4 -> Fender Mustang (compressor -> Vox model ( ->mono delay -> '63 spring reverb in the loop) with 4x12C cab) -> Audacity

OK, I just jumped right on in here, haven't done any playing for the past year and Chuck made me do this OK, to try and get back to some playing.  Hope I didn't step on any toes or do the wrong thing.

Can't remember much at present and I am pretty useless making stuff up so I did something in the style of Cliff Gallup in part 2, bars 25 to 48 of the Rhythm track.

Great work to follow on from John and Jon, so here's another John just keeping with the theme.

Just my Strat miked from the amp. A bit of OD, Reverb and delay.

Please bring me into line if I was out of order here.
