He also played Bass for the Beach Boys and sang when Brian took his first hiatus.

Glen had always been a guitar hero of mine. His breadth as a guitar player and entertainer have been largely dismissed, IMHO.

My very first electric was a Teisco DelRey guitar and 5 watt amp package that I got from Arlan's Department store, in exchange for a whole summer of haying for a neighbor. Following the next two summers I bought the Fender BandMaster. Man it was a lot of work having GAS in those days.

That Teisco today would be considered a Japanese 60s POS. But he played the hell out of it. Maybe at that point he couldn't afford a Fender? Maybe it wan't (isn't) a POS.
