Blues Newbie
Hi, has anyone looked at www. Fretjam.com ? I came across it a week or so ago. I’m not strictly a blues lover I tend to lean towards Folk, Dire Straits Pink Floyd Country old and new etc, but have always had a bluesy feel to my playing.
He tends to focus a lot on scales modes and scale exercises, fragmented patterns etc. I thought it could be good for me maybe., fingers and brain don’t work so well these days.
Griffs post on Modes sent me off looking at scales and arpeggios again, I am working with BGU2 and 5EBS at present and not making a lot of progress 8 months in and on lesson 12 and solo 1 on BGU and solo 1 on 5EBS even though I play most days, my own fault, my focus is all over the place noodling and going over old stuff I have played badly for years, 60 years playing and still crap.
