Creating a Dropbox account - Uploading and Posting

This tutorial is for someone who does not already have a dropbox account and may qualify as Internet challenged. It is very basic.

First
Create a Dropbox account. Go here. https://dropbox.com
Select Dropbox Basic (the free account)
You will enter the name, email address and password you choose to use.

As of 11/05/2018, when you create an account, Dropbox will show a screen telling you to download the dropbox app. This is not a necessary step and this tutorial assumes you do not download the app. If you do not choose to use the application, you may close the browser window.

Dropbox will send you an email to your registered address, which you must verify in order to share anything on your new account. The email you receive will look like this (below). Just click the verify button in the email.

Dropbox will reopen your browser and confirm that your email has been verified.
Depending on the cookies setting on your browser, you may already be logged in or you may need to log in again.

Click on Files and you will see the My Files Screen.

Click on Upload files. A Windows Explorer window will open showing the files on your computer. Use it to navigate to the location where you have your recording saved on your computer. Highlight the file and click Open.

The file will commence uploading

When complete, the progress bar will change and the file will be displayed and you will have the option to Share the file.

Click on the SHARE button and a Link window will pop up.

At the Link Screen, click on Copy Link.

You may close your dropbox window now.

Go to the BGU Forum and navigate to the thread where you want to post, or Create a new thread in the section where you want your post to appear.
Enter whatever text you want in the post and then Paste the link from Dropbox (it should still be on your clipboard) to the post.
Click Create Thread if this is a new thread you are starting or click Post Reply if you are posting to an existing thread.
