The Blues Kings, the band I play bass in has had quite a few gigs lately and I stopped posting them here, but I'm proud to say we are opening with a couple song at the Colorado Women in Blues Showcase event in Colorado Springs tomorrow.

It went great and too fast despite our flaky drummer never showing, he thought it was tomorrow...
Fortunately there were enough blues bands at the event that we were able to borrow a drummer. Then when they asked us to play another one, we jumped into an original forgetting thee drummer didn't know it. He hung in there mostly but completely lost the band for a few bars.
