BGU Solo #2

So, this is my stab at Solo 2.

However, I changed up how I am practicing today - instead of waiting and then recording, I am recording the whole practice. Here's how it works:
iPod on continuous loop into Roland micro-cube (black panel COSM gain 7, vol 4, tone 8, no FX)
Cube headphone into Alesis IO2 direct to Audacity.
Epi ES dot studio, Neck PU, vol 6, tone 8.
Monitoring on the Alesis Out.

The mix between the backing track and guitar is a work in progress and I think I picked up some interference from the HVAC too.

This is take 8!

Nice playing Paul ! You have the majority of solo 2 down, now you can just enjoy applying it.
I encurage you to find other backing tracks in the same key with similar tempo and play this solo over them.
Better yet, record your own backing track and play solo 2 over it.
You've done the "work" of learning the solo, hopefully you find ways to play with it now.
Thanks for sharing your progress.

Paul, that was great! I really like the "BB" sound and you got! Nice stab!

IF you have Griff's backing tracks, you can play this solo to Gone For Good. You have it down on the "learn how to play it" track. To me it's more fun/realistic to play to the Gone For Good backing track. As I recall, there's a 4-bar intro that's all Bm, then you can start the solo at the 5th bar of Bm.
