BGU Lesson 5-1

Peter Wynne

Woke up fell outta bed drag a comb across my head
I really enjoyed this lesson as it challenged me to keep the right hand moving while finding the chords with the left hand. The fast track was a true challenge and, even though it's labeled take 2, it wasn't until at least take 54 that i was happy with the result.

I like to keep track of my setup so i can come back to that sound if needed.

Duesenberg Starplayer neck pickup
Yamaha THR10C ACO w/Boutique 1x12 (no effects) - Slow version
Yamaha THR10C ACO w/American 1x12 (no effects) - Fast version
Cubase 8.0
Dunlop nylon .06 pick (with a thicker 1.0 pick i was losing grip on it)

Now to turn the page and on to lesson 6.

Nicely done Pete. Griff teaches its better to be ever so slightly behind the beat in the blues rather than in front of it (like in rock). You did that nicely on the second recording.
