Albatross - RIP Peter Green

Like many of us, I’m sad to hear that Peter Green died aged 73.

Back in the old days, he played the blues with so much soul. He did not play too many notes, but he played the right ones with great feeling.

I dived a bit deeper in his songs and style when learning and recording Albatross 2 years ago.

A sad loss to music. I loved his playing and his voice. 'Need your love so bad', is still one of my all time favourite songs.

Very nice tribute Wim. I started playing around with that song a few weeks ago. You've put me in the mood to get back to it.

Funny thing, I've been working on some new original songs and for crying out loud, they are all coming out sounding like Peter Green's "Need your love so bad".

Guess I need to reprogram my brain.
