52 Rhythms Ex 1.17

Here's lesson 1.17. Did this one on my Squier CV Strat. Middle p/u, Touch of Reverb pre-set on my MIII.

Not sure about the tone and mixing part. Still struggle with that part.

Really nice work. As far as the mix, I might take the guitar down just a hair if you can imagine a vocal and a lead you would want the rhythm just down a bit, but for this exercise I see why the rhythm is more prominently featured.

I love your tone. Just enough anger in it to grab the listener (at least this listener). Bravo!
