Funk in F

I’ll agree with you so that both of us are wrong.
Here is something a little different but fun to play none the less. I pretty much kept to the F major pentatonic but did throw in the 4 every now and then. I believe this one technically would fall under the F mixolydian but I will defer that to @Paleo to verify. I took the first 2:20. Once you get into the groove, time flies by fast.

Yepper.

Same as Sweet Home, Can't you see, Dear Mr Fantasy, etc that we've discussed in the past.

At first it just alternates between F and Bb suggesting I and IV in F Major.

But then it goes to a "hit" on Eb (bVII) rather than the "expected" C (V).

There's that bVII "red flag" again.

So Key of Bb, F Mixolydian mode.

As I listen to you playing I can hear you soloing to any of those other songs, as well. Hopefully, the sound is starting to become familiar.

An aside: Griff's shortcut: 2 Major chords a whole step apart (Eb and F) in a Major progression must be the IV and V of the Major Key (Bb).

However, if that "V" is the tonal center you're in Mixolydian mode and if that "IV" is the tonal center you're in Lydian.

The IV and V of Bb Major (Eb-F) are also the I and bVII in F Mixolydian (F-Eb) and the I and II in Eb Lydian (Eb-F). :)
