Bad news...

One of the regulars from my local blues jams just died of Covid. He was a great player and entertainer, if a little prickly at times. I’ll miss him.

Sorry to hear that Ed. This Covid thing is strange. Some people die from it, for some it's like a bad flu and others barely notice it.

Not to sound flippant, but it's a good reminder to not catch the covid-fatigue and quit being vigilant like some seem to be doing.

This has hit me harder than I thought it would. He was an acquaintance and we were cordial at the jam but he wasn’t a close friend.

He was a large presence in the jam community around here. EVERYONE knew him.
